Description:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Craft engaging 500+ word articles for each show, ensuring they resonate with the content strategy and tonality of the respective show.
- Keep the show and station’s social media profiles updated and aligned with our digital strategy.
- Collaborate with the digital team to provide on-the-ground social media coverage for East Coast Radio-related events and activations.
- Adhere to our social media policy while preserving the unique brand characteristics of each show.
- Develop original content in various formats, including blogs, videos, images, and graphics, for our digital platforms.
- Contribute to show preparation by brainstorming and planning creative ideas and stunts for the team to execute.
- Share platform performance insights with key stakeholders such as the Executive Producer, Digital Lead, Social Media Specialist, and Programming & Content Manager.
- Act as the liaison with the video team, outlining video projects and ensuring their successful execution.
- Supervise the production of digital media, encompassing videos, website development, online advertising, and email marketing.
- Keep clients informed about the progress of digital campaigns.
- Create concepts and designs for new digital projects, ensuring they are aligned with our brand standards.
- Coordinate with project directors to uphold workflow efficiency, proper documentation, and design quality.
- Produce accurate status reports, keeping all relevant parties well-informed.
- Identify and promptly resolve any issues that may arise.
- Lead a team of developers, designers, and strategists, ensuring the end product aligns with the client’s vision.
- Uphold our brand identity and fulfill client requirements in all content.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree/diploma in a relevant field such as digital marketing, communications, or journalism.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 3 years experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating and maintaining engaging digital content. The ability to convey information clearly and effectively is crucial.
- Proficiency in digital tools and platforms, including content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms
- Basic understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and best practices to optimize digital content for search engines
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, often in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills are a must.
- Prior experience in producing various types of digital content, such as articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and podcasts.
- Demonstrated experience in managing social media accounts, creating engaging posts, and analyzing performance metrics
- Experience in developing and executing content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital content production, as well as staying updated on emerging technologies and platforms.
