DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a proactive and creative Digital Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This role will involve developing, curating, and managing digital content across social media platforms and websites. You will be responsible for content creation, social media strategy, and website updates/maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management, website content updates, and a strong understanding of HTML to make minor site changes and improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience as a Digital Content Coordinator, Social Media Manager, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HTML, with the ability to make basic website updates and troubleshoot common issues
- Experience with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content scheduling tools, and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Google Analytics)
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of SEO best practices for digital content
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player with a positive “can do” attitude
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
