Description:
We’re TransPennine Express and we’re going places. Whether that’s helping customers reach their destination, or ensuring our colleagues feel fulfilled and supported in their careers. We’re looking for people with drive and enthusiasm to join our amazing team and help push for more progress within the rail industry. We look forward to meeting new faces and eager minds, ready to join our mission of creating a better-connected network in the North and Scotland, for good.
As Digital Content Specialist you will be joining the team at an exciting time as we have launched a new brand vision and identity, with the opportunity to undertake a comprehensive audit of the digital communications channels, making recommendations for changes and improvements to develop a customer, and commercially focussed digital content strategy.
This role balances the day-to-day support with a forward look to improving the presentation of content across digital channels to deliver high-quality, engaging communications. A key focus is managing content across all our digital channels, ensuring a consistency in approach and providing a framework for evaluation and optimisations. You will collaborate with teams across the business, external partners, and agencies, to deliver user focussed content, which is up-to-date, compliant, and accurate.
You will be a motivated collaborator, with the ability to proactively lead a content strategy, complemented by excellent organisational and team working skills to deliver this. You will have experience in leading a content strategy across a range of digital platforms, with the ability to develop and deliver this across social channels. And to bring this all to life, experience working in or with agencies would be beneficial.
As the lead for digital content, you will be an excellent writer and editor, with good spelling and grammar and the ability to adapt to brand styles. You will be the brand guardian for all digital content, ensuring a consistency in approach across our channels such that everything sits under our new brand platform of ‘Together, We’re Going Places’.
As Digital Content Specialist you will hold responsibility for the following areas:
- A customer focussed content strategy across all digital channels
- Working collaboratively with and supporting the marketing, communications and customer information teams, wider business, and agencies to deliver engaging branded content
- Producing accurate and compliant web content optimised for SEO and UX, alongside any industry regulatory and accessibility standards
- Writing, editing, and commissioning static and video content for digital channels. Including website/ blog posts, social media, email, and marketing copy
- Analysing tracking tools and gathering customer feedback to produce reporting, organising user testing and market research projects as required
- Brand guardianship, providing editorial guidance in terms of look and feel of content, and tone of voice of copy
If that sounds like the right fit for you, we’d love to hear from you, please click apply and complete an application form.
