Over the course of fiscal 2022-23, OLG delivered a record $2.5 billion in net profit to the Province of Ontario. OLG is now expanding our horizons even further, with a new strategic direction, to become a world class gaming entertainment leader with a globally admired digital platform.
We are ready to take this game to the next level and need a passionate Digital Contract Manager to develop and deliver governance systems that are consistent with the Digital Contract Management Framework and aligned with enterprise policies, standards, and objectives to enable effective decision making, problem solving, and maturity modelling.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Contract Management, you will be empowered to:

  • Build and sustain relationships and work collaboratively with relationship management teams across the Digital Division, internal business partners and service providers to ensure consistent practices that help the division understand and comply with the Contract management governance.
  • Facilitate the decision-making/resolution process through governance channels, providing consultation and analysis (operational, contractual, risk) to the Director Contract management and the business case owners while leveraging governance and operational experience.
  • Use early detection strategies, troubleshoot potential issues to determine risks and impacts to the business across all service providers; providing sound recommendations to management to inform their decisions and help solve problems.
  • Collaborate with Internal business partners to solicit their input on contractual or operational issues, translating those points internal operational efficiencies. Further bring continuous improvements to the Digital Contract Management Playbook. Define and develop information and reporting requirements to ensure a standardized approach towards performance reporting. Steward the performance processes for all Digital and drive digital-wide adoption to ensure standard processes are followed.
  • Build in-depth contract knowledge, in addition to the Director Contract Management, across all digital service provider contracts to support the consistent application of business and operational practices.
  • Lead and facilitate contract assessments for risk identification and opportunities for standardization. Prepare and present opportunities to Director Contract Management for further review and implementation.
  • Lead the development of the accountability mapping (RACI) and obligations identification across all contracts to ensure consistency and proper identification of obligation owner across OLG.
  • Track, measure and report on digital contract management key performance indicators (KPIs), etc to track success and other key milestones which will provide insights and effective decision-making information for the CGO & SLT
  • Monthly Dashboards (Obligations that are due, contract compliance)
  • Average time for Change Request/Amendment to be completed
  • Limitation of Risk report – how much risk the business is willing to accept
  • Termination of Convenience
  • Define and identify requirements for the Contract Management tool implementation and continuous alignment with the contract management playbook.
  • Lead on behalf of Digital the Audit Management Action Plan; by collaborating with business unit and SP to ensure timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Commercial Contract Manager(s) on Vendor Performance (SLRs; action items, key risks) etc Prepare Monthly Tier 1 Vendor Financial Report for presentation to Senior Leadership
  • Oversee Obligation Management Tool User Access for Digital Line of Business

Cross Functional Relationships:

  • The role builds and fosters cross-functional relationships, both internally and externally as a critical part of the role.
  • Collaborates with relationship management teams, key internal business partners (such as Legal, IT, Audit & Risk and Compliance) as well as interactions with the service providers to ensure consistent business practices across bundles.
