Drive excellence in customer experience through The Salvation Army’s (TSA) digital channels to help position and enhance TSA brand to win the engagement of individuals and communities, and in so doing, reinforce TSA sustainability, relevance and advocacy.
This is a full time maximum term,12 month position located at THQ Blackburn and working from home options.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be successful in this role if you can demonstrate:
Technical Leadership
- Within the assigned area of responsibility, drive the development and implementation of effective digital journeys across TSA websites, including optimal handover to offline as required
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop appropriate CX tactics to achieve organisational goals including conversion s
- Use analytics, UAT, A/B testing and other techniques to drive continual innovation, optimisation and conversions across websites within the assigned area of responsibility
Stakeholder Management
- Support the activities of other teams and departments through the creation, publication and optimisation of digital journeys and web pages
- Collaborate with digital designers and developers regarding UX, design and functionality for TSA’s primary website as well as the broader ongoing development of the CMS platform
Brand & Channel Management
- Assist the manager with TSA’s primary website, including homepage, navigation, ux, content and conversions
- Assist the manager with monitoring and supporting TSA’s network of sub-sites and microsites to ensure consistent and aligned CX across all touchpoints
- Assist the manager with utilisation of relevant third-party touchpoints (e.g. eCommerce and peer-to-peer giving platforms)
Risk Management
- Ensure all branding activities pertaining to area of responsibility are developed and executed in accordance with legislation, TSA policy and values and applicable Codes of Practice
- Identify risks to the brand and advise leaders accordingly
- Where relevant, risk mitigation strategies that may negatively impact brand
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing or related discipline
- Strong familiarity with CMS systems
- Intermediate to strong understanding of research, testing and analytics tools and techniques
- Desirable – Basic to intermediate understanding of HTML5 & CSS3
- Demonstrated understanding of digital fundraising principles and techniques desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects and campaigns
- Degree in Marketing/Communications (or related discipline)
- Demonstrated understanding of social work/NFP/faith-based sector desirable
