The Ecolab Food & Beverage division provides expertise and a comprehensive set of solutions that help increase food safety and product quality, enhance sustainability, and boost operational efficiency for the food and beverage industry. Within the set of Ecolab’s customer solutions, ‘Digital’ is a strategic priority, providing greater insight into, and control over, hygiene processes.
You will play a key role in bringing digital solutions to Ecolab’s customers, as part of the Digital Deployment Team.
This is a collaborative team that combines food & beverage hygiene expertise with in-depth knowledge of Ecolab’s digital solutions. The position is active along the entire customer lifecycle. The involvement starts during the sales process, by understanding customer needs and articulating how Ecolab’s digital solutions can address those needs. Subsequently the position coordinates the implementation and provides training and support related to the usage of the digital solutions.
The initial focus will be on acquiring product knowledge and learning how to configure Ecolab’s digital solutions for customers, with support from team members. Over time, responsibilities will expand into more active participation in the sales process to advocate digital solutions to customers, as well as more technical implementation tasks.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering
- Advanced computer skills and basic automation skills
- Proficiency in English , Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work remotely
- Available to travel within Europe from time to time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to work effectively with team members from all EU, to drive progress and deliver results
- Quick learner with strong problem-solving, analytic, conceptual, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that allow effective communication with both business and technical resources
- Experience with working in a customer-facing environment
- Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently, drive execution and handle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in English, additional plus would be ( in order of importance ) , Spanish, Dutch, French and/ or Italian
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the sales process (typically remotely) from a technology perspective for current digital solutions and/ or other upcoming ‘digital’ innovations
- Coordinating the implementation together with Sales and Engineering colleagues, and executing the configuration of customer facing digital solutions
- Training of Ecolab and customer associates on Ecolab’s digital solutions
- Providing support related to usage, technical questions, issue resolution and more related to digital deployment ( not application )
- Contributing to case studies, to highlight the customer impact of Ecolab’s digital solutions
