Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Digital Designer who will be responsible for the design and production of different content forms like text, audio, photographs, animation, video and other digital and print marketing material that will be used on website, internal portal and social media platforms, presentations and other marketing channels to educate and raise awareness about the dans brand internally and externally.
The ideal candidate should have the ability to Identify innovative ideas and solutions for everyday work problems that contribute to on-going continuous improvement and add value to the customer.
This role will be based in Dubai Air Navigation Services in Al Maktoum Airport DWC offices.
Key Accountabilities
The Digital Designer will also be responsible for developing promotional campaigns and liaising with internal stakeholders to create concepts and collateral that will support the objectives of the campaign. This includes liaising with the procurement department on purchase requests as well as the production suppliers to ensure collateral is delivered at the highest quality and on budget.
The responsibilities of the post holder will also entail developing creative themes and concepts for dans participation in exhibitions and conferences as well as employee events. Support and implement other tasks as needed
Proactively recommend and develop creative visual content that enhances dans corporate image and raise awareness about dans brand and services internally and externally.
Evolve the brand identity in line with the strategic objectives of the organisation through creative execution of visual content while ensuring brand consistency as per dans corporate brand guidelines.
Collaborate and support internal stakeholders on the development of marketing collateral and visual content as per project objectives while ensuring brand consistency and customer satisfaction. Plan and implement internal campaign’s concept and supervise execution.
Manage the production of all print items and corporate gifts from conception to completion ensuring high quality end products. Follow department’s processes and procedures and liaise with procurement, finance and production suppliers to ensure products/ collateral are delivered on time and budget.
Develop dans visual brand image in events, exhibitions and conferences as per the events’ objectives and brand identity guidelines. Coordinate with suppliers, ensure appropriate specifications are in place and the implementation/ execution is as per dans quality standards and guidelines.
Specific Requirements
Degree in a relevant discipline or commensurate knowledge and experience.
At least 3 years of experience in a multimedia and graphic design role at a web design /marketing/advertising agency.
Experience in the conceptualisation, design, and production of animation, multimedia, audio/videos; experience in a non-linear video and audio editing/production and/or Web development environment.
Expertise in designing for multi-channel placements (print, web, email and more).
Advanced graphic design skills. Rating – Very capable and above
Video and audio editing software including Final Cut Studio (Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Motion, Compressor)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator, Animate CC and InDesign).
Develop and create standardized SharePoint master pages and branding, expertise in CSS3, HTML5 and responsive websites.
Understanding of UX concepts, techniques and practices
Eye for typography, composition, layout, colour, high-quality production with pixel-level attention to detail.
Ability to iterate and sketch out ideas quickly.
Photography – demonstrable skills in composition, framing, lighting, varying depth of focus, etc
