QUALIFICATIONS:

• NQF 6 Diploma or Certificate in IT (Essential)
• NQF 7 Degree in IT (Essential)

KNOWLEDGE:

• Intermediate knowledge of programming, system integration, IT design patterns, and IT concepts and principles (Essential).

EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Developer (Essential).

SKILLS:

• Intermediate skills in problem-solving, system design, analysis, program testing, and operating system software (Essential).
• Basic communication skills (Essential).

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be willing and able to work away from home and adhere to flexible working hours when required.
• South African citizenship is essential.

JOB PURPOSE:

We are looking for a skilled Digital Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting in-house IT infrastructure and integrating third-party applications. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining software solutions to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, build, and deploy IT solutions, including coding and front-end graphical user interface design.
• Manage and support IT applications, performing tasks such as coding, debugging, testing, and upgrading software.
• Modify existing software to adapt to new platforms and enhance performance.
• Monitor, administer, and support IT solutions, ensuring their performance meets quality standards.
• Provide user and system support on application systems, interfacing with users and external IT service providers.
• Research and implement new technologies to improve workflow, system functionality, and data integration.
• Maintain documentation and data access tools to support data management.
