Western English Language Centre (WELC) develops and delivers a range of English language programs that support international student success and contribute to the internationalization goals of the university.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
The Digital Engagement Officer focuses on delivering external and internal digital communications and marketing materials to further the goals and objectives of Western Continuing Studies’ overall marketing and communication strategy. The role is responsible for developing and distributing content and materials, ensuring that messages are on-brand and articulated persuasively in communications channels of strategic importance. Social media content fosters digital engagement opportunities to build a sense of belonging and common identity amongst Western students as well as establishing and converting leads for registration. The Digital Engagement Officer coordinates communications and marketing projects and provides advice on related matters to ensure Western’s brand and reputation are enhanced locally, nationally, and internationally in relation to Western Continuing Studies.
You will have a passion for storytelling and determine the most effective communications and marketing programs and initiatives to implement to achieve strategic outcomes. The role will also support the development and maintenance of communication processes and practices and provide expert advice, guidance and support of communications plans and related projects consistent with all relevant University guidelines.
