ABOUT THE JOB:

Kent is looking for a Telecom Lead who will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of telecommunications systems within the oil & gas sector. This role involves integrating digital solutions for remote communication and monitoring, ensuring reliable and efficient operations

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 10+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN DIGITAL ENGINEERING, WITH PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN LEADING THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE DIGITAL ENGINEERING TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS.

• Lead the design and implementation of telecommunications systems.
• Integrate digital solutions for remote communication and monitoring.
• Ensure reliable and efficient telecom operations within projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless telecom integration.
• Develop and maintain telecom project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and support for telecom systems.
• Understand and integrate AI industrial solutions into telecom projects.
• Design and implement control rooms, with experience in IOC design as an added advantage.
  In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee’s skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee’s current workload and with respect to their professional development.

KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATION/ TRAINING/ CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
