The opportunity
We are on the lookout for a passionate individual to join our dynamic digital team. Our Digital Factory division is at the forefront of a vast array of projects, aiding various Service Lines at EY in crafting cutting-edge software applications and solutions. As an Intern Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of software projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in accordance with current industry standards
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team
  • Assist in the identification, troubleshooting, and resolution of development issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
  • Engage in Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Support the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance the development lifecycle
  • Help maintain technical documentation and assist in the creation of software user guides

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Last year bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • A proactive, agile, and analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Strong coding and debugging skills
  • A commitment to excellence with a results-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages and development tools
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development lifecycle
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Holding any software development certifications would be beneficial
