PMO LEAD

The opportunity
We are looking for a talented PMO Lead to join our dynamic and rapidly growing IT team to shape the future of our product development efforts. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the strategic direction of our development team and processes, ensuring the timely delivery of innovative, high-quality digital solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, outstanding leadership ability, and a passion for building a world-class development environment. • Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.
• Develop and implement PMO processes, methodologies, and best practices to ensure project success.
• Oversee the portfolio of projects, ensuring resource allocation, budget management, and timelines are adhered to.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders on milestones, risks, and issues.
• Drive the adoption of project management tools and software within the team.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across project teams and departments.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree/MBA strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in project management or PMO related roles.
• Demonstrable track record of success in delivering transformation projects.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for bridging the gap between technology and operational teams.
