Responsibilities:
Are you a passionate Digital Artist, seeking an exciting opportunity to elevate your career? Do you have some experience in producing verifiable photomontages? Are you seeking a distinctive opportunity in the renewable energy sector with an emphasis on career growth and development?
Macro Works (Part of the APEM Group) is a specialist landscape and visual consultancy who undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) for many of Ireland’s largest commercial and infrastructural developments.
We’re currently on the lookout for a Digital Graphic Artist to join our growing graphics team as we work on a number of high volume, broad-ranging development projects, which include wind farms, solar farms, road schemes, electrical infrastructure, water infrastructure as well as commercial and residential developments.
In this varied role, you’ll be working closely with other 3D modelling and GIS colleagues to coordinate accurate visual simulations of an exceptional standard, along with working to the sequenced internal task deadlines in order to meet external project deadlines and eventually you’ll be be managing the graphic processes for your assigned project from beginning to end in terms of coordination and delivery.
You will also be able to harness your creative flair on creation of verifiable photomontages, processing photography and creating panoramas and formatting photomontages in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, all while being support by our senior graphics and LVIA team.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Proficiency with the Adobe Suite of visualisation software.
- An artistic eye with a good sense of how to graphically manipulate colour, tone, texture and shadow.
- Some experience/exposure to the production of verifiable photomontages for development projects.
- Ability to interpret Architectural and Engineering drawings.
