Marvell is a leading provider of innovative storage technologies, including ultra‐fast read channels, high‐performance processors, leading edge transceivers, highly efficient analog designs, and powerful cryptographic engines. These solutions address all segments of the hard disk drive (HDD) and solid‐state drive (SSD) electronics markets. Many of the same technologies have been utilized in Marvell storage system solutions products, powering PCs, servers, cloud, and enterprise systems.
We developed critical IPs in SSD controller, such as NVMe and flash controller, that played a pivotal role in the functions and performance of SSD controller. Promising engineer like you will have the opportunity to work on numerous types of interfaces with host and NAND and advanced error correction technology in our SSD controllers and be part of an agile team with the capability to support product development for different market segments in a short period of time.

What You Can Expect

• Develop next generation SSD controller utilizing advanced digital technologies.
• RTL coding for key IPs in SSD controller.
• Provide design documentation, description and information to internal and external customers.
• Synthesis and timing closure.
• Perform Lint, CDC and LEC.
• Perform power and performance analysis for various types of IPs.
• Perform functional verification of design on block and system level.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and 1 years of RTL design experience
• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields
• Hands-on experience on RTL coding and synthesis/timing closure
• Hands-on experience on writing design documents.
• Good understanding of Linux/Unix/BSD Internals, with experience working on Multi-threaded systems
• Strong Programming Skills in Scripting/programming language like PERL/Python, TCL & C/C++, in a Unix type environment, with good problem solving skills
• Understanding of SSD controller architecture is a big plus
• NAND interface or LDPC background knowledge is a big plus.
