Description:
Ensure that new systems and processes are installed and functioning properly Be responsible for the development and ongoing management of partnerships with external suppliers, ensuring that all contractual and statutory obligations are met. Ensure contractual obligations are met including safety reporting obligations, provision of documentation, progress reports and report writing . Identify, record and provide solutions to complex project risks and issues Assist with business contingency and disaster recovery planning for assigned project. Assist with the design and development of operational policies, procedures training requirements for assigned project.
Provide timely highlight / exception reports etc. to the relevant boards and committees. Make use of a wide range of information sources, including the Intranet/Internet, and professional publications so as to enhance successful /project delivery. Establish cross-functional project teams, working groups and user groups as required to foster effective team communication and forums to drive the project forward, ensuring that all parties have a clear understanding of responsibilities.
Monitor projects to ensure that they are on target to deliver the proposed business benefits. Assist in benefits identification and realisation including the compiling of the benefits register. Coordinate the design, development and testing of systems, ensuring the deployed product meets the needs of users and stakeholders and is ultimately fit for purpose from both business and clinical perspectives. Identify system enhancements and changes and escalate via the appropriate channels e.g.
Request for Change, Contract Change Notice. Responsibility and management of part of a budget. Responsibility and management of digital systems within the post holders remit. Training key stakeholders as required
