Ecophon is looking for a Digital Innovation Specialist to make sure we leverage the opportunities of current and future digital solutions in our ambition to be the global leader and provider of solutions for room acoustics. The role involves exploring, researching, and developing digital tools and you will contribute both as an expert and a project leader. You will be part of an engaged and highly competent Research team in our RD& Innovation department, consisting of about 40 engineers and researchers dedicated to fulfilling our mission.

QUALIFICATIONS, PROFILE AND BACKGROUND

You are curious about the latest digital innovations and technologies and have a strong understanding of AI, VR/AR, simulation tools, and IoT. Together with your strong and proven experience in digital technology research you drive several projects simultaneously, from concept to completion. And with your excellent communication and relationship-building skills you work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
You have a master’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Physics, Computational Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field, and you are a strategic and analytical thinker.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In your role as our Digital Innovation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our position as a leader within acoustic products and systems that contribute to a good working environment, thereby enhancing peoples’ wellbeing and performance. Already today, but even more so in the future, digital tools will play an important role in all steps of the chain, from material and product development to designing and evaluating the final on-site solution. We therefore need you to take lead and position us at the forefront by identifying, evaluating, and implementing digital tools and technologies that can help us to fulfill our promise to have “a Sound Effect on People”.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role you will stay abreast of digital trends by conducting research and by evaluating existing and emerging digital technologies to ensure Ecophon remain at the forefront. You develop and maintain digital innovation roadmaps aligned with Ecophons’ business objectives. Further you lead projects to demonstrate the viability and benefits of these new digital tools for acoustic solutions. You also coordinate intra company activities within the field of digital tool development and support the marketing department when launching digital tools. You are the subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations on digital technology adoption. Further, you build and maintain relationships with technology partners, research institutions, and industry experts.
