The Launch team are responsible for launching all products on Dunelm.com. Working closely with the commercial teams, internal studio and digital growth, our goal is to launch products on time whilst providing customers with all the information and inspiration they need to make a confident purchase on Dunelm.com.
Reporting to the Digital Launch Manager, the Digital Launch Assistant will support the Digital Launch team in launching all new products onto Dunelm.com. Day to day, you will be responsible for the full set up & maintenance of products on Dunelm.com, including inputting attributes, writing engaging and informative on-brand product copy & titles, and uploading product imagery.
This role is a hybrid opportunity (Office location Leicester Syston).

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a key member of the Launch team to set up new products for the website to required guidelines and process, for a variety of different departments and product types.
  • Input accurate product data & detail to provide customers with the information and advice they need to make an informed purchase.
  • Write engaging and informative on-brand copy whilst adhering to the brand tone of voice and SEO guidelines, making sure our customers have a true understanding of a product without physically seeing it in real life.
  • Where necessary, use Chat GPT AI tool to generate engaging and informative product copy for lower priority launches such as promos, using your initiative to edit & refine where needed to keep in line with our brand tone of voice and SEO guidelines.
  • On assigned days, update trade pack slide with accurate launch numbers and send out Promo slide, advising key new products.
  • Manage your own workload, completing all assigned tickets/jobs (new launch & amends) to agreed guidelines and processes, working at pace and with attention to detail to hit key deadlines and get it right first time.
  • Actively participate in Launch team discussions & knowledge sharing to ensure key actions / decisions are communicated to everyone on the team to keep product launches consistent regardless of who is working on them.
  • Work cross-functionally with buying teams, product designers & technologists see and learn about new products as well as understand how to best execute the online launch.
  • Work with the Digital Optimisation team to join up on content improvements & be aware of/understand the impact of changes on new features, templates, product imagery, regular content updates.
  • Work with the Digital Growth Teams & SEO team to ensure we set up products effectively for their trading plans/onsite journeys.
  • Help to keep everything we do simple and efficient.
  • Mark off completed work to ensure trackers & critical paths are kept up to date.
  • Be the guardian of quality product content, rejecting anything that doesn’t meet with your high standards but work with the Launch Exec/ Senior Exec to ensure a resolution is found to enable product to launch.
