ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Qualifications in Library and Information Studies or related field appropriate for membership of ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association)
• Degree (preferred);
• OR Associate Diploma;
• OR lesser formal qualifications.
• OR attained, through previous appointments, service and/or study, an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake the range of activities required.
• Member of ALIA (Australian Library and Information Association).
• Working with Children Blue Card.
• QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent. Note: interstate licences must be transferred to QLD within three (3) months of commencement.
• Skilled in developing inclusive library and digital literacy programs; proven team leadership and public library expertise.
• Strong interpersonal, time management, and client service skills; adept at problem-solving, team motivation, and delivering presentations.
• Proficient in continuous improvement, adapting to change, and leveraging technology effectively.
