JOB DESCRIPTION

The Mail Operations Group of U.S. Bank is looking for a Digital Operations Processors to join the Minnesota operations center. This is a noncustomer/client facing, fast-paced production based environment. You will work Monday- Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
You will provide production support by executing a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational by being proficient with Microsoft programs while navigating multiple screens. You will need to be able to lift up to 45lbs at times along with standing for long periods of time. Duties may include functions related to sorting mail, extracting contents of mail, sorting for digital scanning fir all corporate mail received.

Job Highlights:

  • This position will support the digital mail effort in mail operations. Individual will perform the following.
  • Sort incoming mail and outgoing mail.
  • Extract contents from envelope and prep for ingestion.
  • Ingest documents thru the OPEX Falcon machine.
  • Upload ingested files into KTA (Kofax Total Agility) to assign and submit document files to the OnDox online platform for business line Users to receive their digital mail.
  • Log in check items.
  • Collect and follow handling instructions on the end process of physical documents.

This is a cross-functional position that provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services or enterprise wide. Executes a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interacts with multiple internal partners. Duties may include functions related to transaction processing, data entry, archiving, researching, machine troubleshooting and vendor/client interaction over the phone or email. May have direct contact with third-party vendors and/or external customers. Researches exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate. May have the opportunity to recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production. Certain positions will require the ability to move trays and carts of work, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of related work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Skilled in data entry
  • Able to lift up to 45 lbs
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, pulling reports)
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and department policies, procedures, products and support systems. Preferably in a banking industry, but not required.)
  • Proven commitment to high quality customer service
  • Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve exceptions through data interpretation
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with external and internal customers
