Description:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing and Social Media Officer to join our growing Communications and Marketing Directorate and to support our Digital Marketing Manager in the day-to-day management of our website and social media profiles.
We are seeking a highly motivated, creative and analytically minded individual with a strong understanding of digital and social media, and an aptitude for producing engaging written and visual content.
This position is for someone based in the UK. The role will be remote working, however there will be an expectation for travel throughout the UK for meetings, events and to visit services.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and web analytics
- At least 3 years in a similar role
- Meticulous eye for correct spelling and grammar
- A good eye for detail
- WordPress
DESIREABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Professional marketing qualification
- Hootsuite, Mailchimp, Google Adwords and analytics tools
- Experience of image & video editing software

Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of the company’s marketing and social media strategy.
- Have a flair for designing and creating high-quality content that engages with our target audiences.
- Growing our digital/online presence and finding new ways of reaching out to potential customers by using social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Keeping the content on our websites fresh, current and relevant.
- Actively research and be on the look out for emerging marketing channels and social media innovations that the business could use and capitalise on.
- Monitor and respond to reviews on review sites such as Google Reviews.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing and social media campaigns, and being able to provide evidence of the success of the campaigns.
- Ensure that digital content across the organisation has brand consistency.
- Support the creation of monthly reporting.
- Support the wider marketing team in other tasks such as email marketing, event organisation, video production and graphic design.
