Description:
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to work collaboratively as part of our small, but mighty award-winning Marketing and Communications team! In this role you will play a pivotal role in executing and optimizing various marketing strategies, with a strong emphasis on lead generation, email marketing, and social media marketing.

REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES
·2-4 years experience in marketing, with a focus on lead generation, direct response marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing. Experience working with subscription or member-based business models is a plus. Experience with loyalty and retention programs and strategies is also preferred.
·Post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate in Marketing or Communications
·Strong understanding of lead generation strategies, conversion optimization, A/B testing, and direct response marketing.
·Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and understand the importance of making data-driven decisions.
·Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects, delivering results that meet quality expectations on time.
·Strong interpersonal and communication skill
·Competent user of Microsoft Suite (including Outlook)
·Proven experience in creating, executing, and optimizing email marketing campaigns.
·Solid knowledge of social media platforms and tools (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X(Twitter), etc.), including paid media.
·Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to create compelling content.
·Proficient with email marketing tools (e.g., HigherLogic, MailChimp, Active Campaign etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, etc.)
·Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM is a plus.
·Experience with design software like Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Canva is an asset.
·Bilingual (French/English) an asset.

Responsibilities:
·Assist in developing and implementing lead generation strategies that drive qualified membership prospects.
·Design, develop, and execute targeted direct response campaigns that optimize customer acquisition and retention focusing on measurable results and ROI.
·Analyze and optimize open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to maximize campaign success.
·Provide insights and testing recommendations for improving future campaigns.
·Create and curate engaging content across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), and more. Monitor trends and audience behaviors to refine strategies and grow our online presence.
·Design promotional videos for upcoming events and campaigns to market CSMLS
·Write briefs and compelling copy for digital and print ads, email campaigns, social media posts, landing pages, blog posts, podcast episodes and other marketing materials. Ensure that all content aligns with the CSMLS brand voice and positioning.
·Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop KPIs for marketing programming (email, social, advertising) and maintain responsibility for weekly tracking, analysis and reporting
·Work closely with the marketing and communications team, external agencies, printers and designers to ensure cohesive campaign execution and alignment with broader organization objectives.
·Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in digital and direct response marketing, social media, and emerging technologies to ensure that our marketing efforts remain innovative and competitive.
·Support internal clients with marketing needs, including events and education departments (Coordinate production of print, display (banners, booth) and promotional materials)
