ABOUT THE PROPERTY:

Ballymaloe House Hotel is a family-owned countryside retreat featuring 32 individually designed bedrooms, renowned farm-to-table dining, and exemplary Irish hospitality. Situated on 300 acres, it blends historic charm with luxury, offering a serene escape from urban life. The hotel has long-standing sustainable practices and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, the Considerate Collection, and a founding member of Ireland’s Blue Book.‍

Responsibilities:

MAIN DUTIES:

Execution of and reporting on digital marketing activities for Ballymaloe House Hotel, driving overall digital marketing strategies, social presence (social reputation and social media)
Social media – coordination of organic content, ensuring growth in engagement and followers. Management of social media strategies, content creation and monitoring.
Day-to-day management of social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
Create and execute a content calendar, an annual digital marketing plan fitting in with the overall marketing strategy.
Responsible for www.ballymaloe.ie keeping content including the imagery up-to-date.
Email marketing – creation and execution, optimization and reporting.
Monitor 3rd party systems, ensuring all online copy and imagery is updated and on brand, (Bookings.com, Expedia, Tripadvisor)
Uploading and categorizing imagery, hosted on Dropbox and Google Drive and assisting in photo & video shoots.
Knowledge of PMS and relevant integrated systems
Ensuring that Guest Journey correspondence and template are working, and up to date across all online touch points. This includes confirmations, pre- and post-arrival templates and feedback.
Passion for industry trends and best practices and to be able to identify new online opportunities for the business

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 2 years digital marketing experience
A relevant, third-level qualification
A proven track record in the delivery of digital campaigns and social media content
Experience with marketing tools such as GA4,Meta Business Suite, various Social Media channels, Revinate or For-Sight.
Good working knowledge of Canva, Hootsuite or other similar social media scheduling tools, marketing email software and CMS (Webflow or WordPress), Microsoft suite
Creativity in the development of concepts and campaigns.
Show attention to detail and be results-orientated with the ability to meet deadlines.
Understanding of KPIs and the budget for the assigned area.
Be customer-focused.
Driving license and access to a car.
