Description:
JOB SCOPE:
We are looking for an ambitious, results-driven Digital Marketing Executive whose primary responsibility will be to drive our email, CRM and automation activity – from acquisition right through to retention.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, with a strong reporting line to our Head of Online, you will be equal parts creative and analytical – excited to generate new ideas to engage customers with email and to dig deep into the data and implement new workflows.
SKILLS EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing or Communications or a related field
- The ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task and respond quickly to changing business demands
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms such Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Emarsys
- Commercial awareness. A Digital Marketing Executive must know his/her target market well and have the ability to create campaigns that grab the attention of customers.
- Top quality analytical skills. A big part of this job involves gathering and analysing data to help understand our customer base and coming up with suggestions for improving the existing strategy
- Ability to use design applications such as Canva or Photoshop
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent copy-writing skills
Responsibilities:
As a Digital Marketing Executive, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the scheduling, deployment and reporting of customer email campaigns on the Klaviyo platform.
- Manage and execute SMS campaigns.
- Plan and deliver email automations and work-flows to help retain existing customers, drive conversions and build brand loyalty.
- Proof-read emails for clarity, grammar and spelling.
- Come up with new creative email ideas and develop email A/B testing strategies.
- Brief the internal design team and follow this through to execution.
- Work closely with our Klaviyo account manager continuously keep up with the latest Klaviyo tools and report back to the online team on new opportunities for growth.
- Work with the wider digital teams to identify optimal channels for acquiring new email subscribers via competitions, social media campaigns and other online and offline channels.
- Monitor the churn of new email acquisitions and test different promotions for driving conversions.
- Ongoing management and continued segmentation of our email database.
- Track the performance of emails KPI’s against the weekly, monthly and yearly targets and communicate the performance to internal stakeholders.
- Support with blog and social media content
- Creation of online stock reports
- Develop and implement Klaviyo platform growth plan.
- Analysis of data to inform future email strategies and campaigns
- Forward plan and manage email marketing calendar.
