Description:

Leopardstown Racecourse is recruiting for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our professional Marketing team, who will assist with the marketing and event creation for all race days while also taking responsibility for the day-to-day digital and data growth strategy.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of team operating to tight deadlines.
First-class organsiational skills and attention to detail.
A strong passion for digital channels, advertising & activations.
Competent in maintaining and publishing through various content management systems.
Third-level qualification in Digital Marketing or equivalent.
Knowledge and understanding of the Irish racing industry, particularly the racecourse sector, would be an advantage.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of InDesign and Canva
Knowledge / Interest of video production
As racing is a seven-day business, flexibility in relation to working hours is required.

Responsibilities:

Assist with implementation of marketing campaigns across all 23 race meetings.
Assist with event creation in line with race day requirement including dealing with 3rd party suppliers.
Develop and implement a social media strategy to ensure follower growth on Leopardstown channels.
Have day-to-day responsibility for Leopardstown’s social media channels with a clear purpose of follower growth and increased engagement.
Management of Leopardstown website to include regular updates in line with SEO strategy.
Take responsibility for ticketing flow on website to ensure a frictionless path to purchase.
Develop and implement data growth initiatives to grow Leopardstown’s marketable database.
Take responsibility for the regular distribution of email newsletters including content creation and database segmentation.
Collate and distribute post-event customer surveys and present results to Leopardstown team.
Develop and manage a social media coverage plan for all race meetings.
