REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Actively enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree in Marketing, Communications, Technical Writing and/or Public Relations
  • Demonstrated competence as a Technical Writer with exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • Strong interest in skill development in Digital Marketing

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Illustrator and InDesign. Experience using Marketing Cloud/Sales Cloud is an asset.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and results-oriented team player with a positive attitude and the ability to reliably meet deadlines and project objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an excellent command of the English language.
  • Experience building and implementing digital marketing campaigns in the medical device, biopharma, healthcare, or another regulated field is an asset.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Marketing Intern will join the Digital Marketing team under general supervision to create documents in support of its promotional efforts in bringing Boston Scientific’s devices and solutions to market. The candidate will gain exposure to a variety of deliverable types, document formats, software, processes and practices, while interfacing with a range of stakeholders and SMEs such as Product Management, Medical Education, Creative Marketing, Events, Regulatory, Intellectual Property and Quality.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Develop/edit and implement well-organized, error-free marketing documents in support of product commercialization. Projects may include but are not limited to:
    o Support campaign development and deliverables for Medical Education programs, Conferences, product marketing initiatives and launches, including:
    o Copy development for web, social, email, advertising
    o Copy development for internal audiences
    o Producing graphics

    o Creating layout & design for email

  • Develop an understanding of our customers and their attitudes and behaviors across platforms, channels and activities to provide segmentation and personalization.

  • Work cross-functionally to coordinate, track and reconcile stakeholder inputs throughout development and review of content.
  • Proofread, prepare and route documents through the electronic Quality Management System while tracking the approval process.
  • Develop an understanding of company document structure and conduct all documentation activities in compliance with Boston Scientific’s Quality practices and procedures.
  • Undertake other duties and special projects as required.
