We’re based in Vaughan, Ontario, with 16 regional locations that include custom manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, as well as cash and carry locations, product showrooms and equipment demo sites.
The Spicers’ Marketing team is growing as we look toward an exciting future, and we’re looking for a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to join us! Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Brand Management, this role will be pivotal in shaping and executing our digital strategy across various segments.
The ideal candidate will take full ownership of our digital marketing efforts, from planning and managing campaigns to optimizing for maximum impact. You’ll focus on driving lead generation and boosting sales on our eCommerce platform and driving brand awareness for our corporate site. This is a key opportunity for someone who is not only a strategic thinker but also enjoys rolling up their sleeves to create and execute actionable digital marketing plans across our diverse segments: paper, packaging, and graphic systems & solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree or equivalent in Marketing, Digital Technology, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Expertise in paid media and digital/social media strategy, including hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM software.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms and online marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, social media management tools).
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Excellent data management skills and experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools. Experience in A+ will be considered an asset.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience managing social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to drive engagement and growth.
  • Experience with ABM Tools (6Sense, DemandBase, DemandScience) considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English) is a strong asset for communicating across Canada.

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management, the duties and responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategy to drive demand and fuel eCommerce growth, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Analyze website and marketing tech data to drive lead generation and optimize digital assets for maximum ROI.
  • Set KPIs and measurable goals to track performance and optimize the digital marketing roadmap.
  • Track and analyze SEO and Google Analytics data, providing actionable insights to improve content, search rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to drive growth, brand awareness, and lead generation programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing Segment Managers, Creative, etc.) to launch campaigns and drive brand messaging.
  • Design, implement, and manage cross-channel campaigns to engage audiences and fuel business growth.
  • Optimize campaigns using data-driven insights, A/B testing, and performance tracking to refine strategy and tactics.
  • Provide regular campaign performance reports to the team, analyzing leads, performance metrics, and revenue impact to guide future strategies.
  • Leverage email marketing, paid media, and content marketing to maximize campaign reach and audience engagement.
  • Lead and manage one direct report and maintain relationships with current agencies (Digital and Web Agencies) to ensure alignment on digital initiatives.
