Calgary French & International School (CFIS) is a full French language immersion co-educational independent school, serving over 800 students from junior preschool through to Grade 12. - Strong attention to detail, copywriting and grammar are essential.
- Experience with keyword, social media and metrics data analysis for optimization.
- Ability to take direction and execute on strategic goals.
- Experience with Finalsite is an asset.
- Continuing education, skills and/or experience in the areas of digital photography, graphic design, and/or videography are assets
Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Digital Marketing Specialist is instrumental in the development and execution of the school’s digital marketing strategy in alignment with annual strategic goals and priorities. They work closely with the Enrollment and Development departments to promote and highlight our school community, culture and value proposition.
This an excellent opportunity for someone interested in building on an already healthy parent engagement plan while creating a new platform for alumni engagement. The role will provide many opportunities for learning in all areas of Development, Community Engagement, Marketing & Communications, and Enrollment Management in a creative, collaborative team atmosphere that equally values relationships and results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage social media content creation and engagement.
- Monitor social media channels, track analytics and report on channel KPIs.
- Update website content and page design to reflect CFIS’ unique value proposition and incorporate keywords to optimize SEO.
- Work closely with the SEO partner to ensure SEO optimization.
- Contribute written content for newsletters and site posts.
- Be available for in-school photography for use on social media.
- Produce short promotional and communications videos for the school.
- Lead a team of parent volunteers in the annual production of the CFIS yearbook.
