The Position
Join our dynamic Digital Marketing & Events Team! As a Digital Marketing Specialist in Roche Diagnostics Italy, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital strategy, working closely with Business Solution Teams and the Sales Force to design and implement impactful campaigns that shape the future of healthcare. You’ll act as a trusted consultant, supporting Squads and other functions in leveraging digital promotion channels to achieve our shared goals. Plus, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to represent Roche Italy on the international stage, contributing your expertise to global task force.

Role’s main responsibilities are:

  • Serve as a digital advisor for the entire organization, guiding teams in selecting the most effective digital channels to enhance process efficiency;
  • Empower Business Solution Teams and Squads by providing expert support in leveraging the organization’s digital communication tools to drive impactful marketing campaigns;
  • Equip teams with the skills and knowledge needed to maximize the potential of the available Digital Marketing tools, ensuring seamless adoption and usage across the organization;
  • Lead the launch of innovative projects and pilots that address marketing and business needs through cutting-edge digital solutions;
  • Oversee the management of Roche’s business websites, ensuring they align with the latest digital best practices and business objectives;
  • Manage campaigns through ads tools such as Meta Business Suite or LinkedIn Campaign Manager;
  • Take charge of the operational and administrative aspects of the assigned digital solutions, maintaining optimal performance and functionality;
  • Translate global and regional digital initiatives into localized strategies, adapting them to meet the unique needs of the business;
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to keep our digital strategy ahead of the curve;
  • Ensure strict adherence to Roche’s guidelines and policies, actively monitoring staff compliance with digital standards and practices.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • University degree in Marketing, Communication or Digital Marketing; a Master in Marketing and/or Digital Marketing is a plus;
  • 3-5 years experience in Digital Marketing department or communication agencies; Adobe Marketo, Adobe Experience Manager, Meta and LinkedIn ads are a plus;
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) both in Italian and in English - ability to write and deliver training courses and materials; ability to read, understand and communicate business and technical information;
  • Open to and interested in the use of new digital tools and new ways of working (e.g. Agile);
  • Excellent teamwork: interpersonal and group facilitation skills, ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and negotiation capabilities;
  • These skills are also required: vision and innovative thinking to identify and develop new business opportunities; proactivity with a sense of urgency; a self-starting attitude, high motivation and ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment; project management, problem solving and time management skills; strong analytical skills.
