We are seeking a digital marketing specialist with a focus on SEO for a 3 month contract, with possibility to extend for a longer time. This position will primarily concentrate on enhancing our website, with a key emphasis on SEO to boost online visibility and drive growth. The role also aims to promote growth of our company in advertising through email marketing and search engines such as Google.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Improve website, lead the technical aspects of website enhancement, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
  • Conduct a comprehensive SEO analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to boost search engine rankings.
  • Optimize website content, including product/service pages and blog posts, to align with SEO best practices.
  • Implement on-site and off-site SEO best practices to increase organic traffic and visibility.
  • Implement technical SEO improvements, such as meta tags, header tags, and site speed optimization.
  • Monitor website performance and SEO metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Create and send newsletters to customers and promote products in e-mail marketing campaigns
  • Develop and implement paid digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education, including degree, diploma, or certificate in Digital Marketing or a related field
  • Proven work experience with SEO and SEM
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
  • Functional understanding of HTML and CSS - experience with building a website using Wordpress is ideal
  • Proficiency in email marketing tools, as well as ad campaigns using Google Ads
  • Detail-oriented and proactive
  • Experience with graphic design is a plus
