Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist with a strong background in content writing, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), and design, particularly within the sports industry.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing digital marketing strategies that drive engagement, visibility, and conversion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • At least four- or five-years’ experience in digital marketing with a strong emphasis on content creation, SEO, and design.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices; experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Moz.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or Canva.
  • Passion for sports and a solid understanding of sports-related content trends and audience preferences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messaging for different platforms and audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content for various audiences and channels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling and SEO-optimized content for various digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and more.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings and drive website traffic.
  • Develop and manage content calendars to ensure consistent messaging and timely delivery of content.
  • Design visually appealing graphics, infographics, and other digital assets that align with brand guidelines and enhance content effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, and product teams to ensure alignment on content strategy and execution.
  • Track and evaluate campaign efficiency through performance metrics monitoring and analysis and improve content for higher engagement and conversion rates.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, SEO, and sports-related content to propose innovative ideas and strategies.
