Description:
Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist enriches members’ lives by collaborating with stakeholders to develop, execute, measure, and adapt marketing initiatives and content, primarily for digital channels, including email, to support organizational growth and strategic goals. The position integrates content and offers across both online and traditional channels to differentiate and support SCCU’s value proposition, products, and services. The role also provides strategic analysis and insight on digital growth and content marketing.
The preferred candidate has completed a University Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business or other related discipline. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ job-related experience in the digital media and/or marketing field. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Other requirements include:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, and computer literacy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation is highly desirable.
- Strong project management and coordination skills and able to manage multiple / changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to act professionally and maintaining respect, honesty, empathy, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and interact comfortably with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to be creative and apply “out-of-the-box” thinking.
