Description:

Title - Digital Media Specialist
Reports To - Marketing Manager
Location - Corporate Office
Scheduled hours- Monday to Friday (standard office hours) will also require availability on evenings and weekends for events

SUMMARY

Pure Canadian Gaming is seeking an experienced and well-organized Digital Media Specialist to join our dynamic and growing corporate marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, they will have strong social media, communication, photography/video editing, and content creation skills.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing a variety of digital mediums/channels to grow Pure Casino’s online audience, drive strong engagement, and create brand awareness and customer trust. In coordination with the Marketing Manager, the Digital Media Specialist is responsible for creating organic content to stimulate online growth/market perception through a variety of mediums/media.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements - Gaming Industry Experience Is Preferred

  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Event management, Computer Science or a related field experience is an asset. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the digital media field.
  • Experience with Adobe Suite – Lightroom, Premier, Photoshop, etc.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Self starter/able to take initiative with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Strong presentation and oral/written communication skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate all aspects of hospitality, professionalism, prompt, and courteous service, with extreme attention to detail.
  • Some travel to Calgary and Lethbridge is required – must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience with photography and videography. All computer, photography, and video hardware and required software licenses are provided.
  • Ability to lift 15Ibs of related supplies and equipment.
  • This role is dependent on a successful criminal background check.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an energetic and upbeat personality.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work days, evenings, and weekends as per business needs

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and grow the Pure Casinos digital following by posting daily, monitoring and replying to messages, comments, tagged content and branded hashtags on all social media platforms including but not limited to; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with various projects including in-house content creation, copywriting, and promotions.
  • Strategize, edit, publish and share engaging & creative content for Pure Casinos channels daily.
  • Conduct photo/video shoots to develop assets/content and cover special events and promotions.
  • Prompt responses to comments, messages, and general inquiries on social media platforms, seeking guidance when necessary for sensitive issues.
  • Optimize user experiences through all channels of customer contact including but not limited to website, social media, and email.
  • Ensuring consistency of messaging and branding across all websites and online platforms.
  • Communicate regularly with followers and monitor online chatter and customer reviews / feedback.
  • Updating and managing content for Pure Casinos websites.
  • Creating and designing original and on-brand marketing / promotional materials for social media.
  • Effectively promote Pure Casinos marketing initiatives via respective social media sites to increase engagement and follower count.
  • Update and refine social media strategy to support overall communications strategy.
  • Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company’s social following.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate events outside of office hours.
  • Support the Marketing team with other duties and projects as assigned.
