Description:
EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandise Assistant to support the online shop of our company. The ideal candidate will assist in managing product listings, ensuring accuracy in inventory, pricing, and descriptions, and collaborate with various teams to optimize the online shopping experience.
This role is key in maintaining a seamless product presentation and supporting merchandising strategies for the e-commerce platform. On top you will be responsible for processing of all orders by creating purchase orders, and payment of all incoming invoices.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Assist in managing product listings, including adding new products, updating descriptions, pricing, and stock levels.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure product categories, filters, and search functionalities are optimized for customer experience.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure timely restocking and product management.
- Assist in analysing sales data and product performance to support merchandising strategies and suggest improvements.
- Ensure all product information is up-to-date and accurate, troubleshooting any discrepancies related to product details or availability.
- Keep overall overview of all orders and incoming invoices.
