QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a strategic, digital, analytical or consultative role, with demonstrated progression in responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of developing robust reporting and models.
  • Strong peer leadership skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively, innovatively and to simplify complex situations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Base-level knowledge of emerging technologies and digital channels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Possesses a proactive mindset and is a curious learner.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a peer leader amongst other employees to help ensure alignment to our digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as customers and dealers, to integrate digital initiatives into broader business strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats so that we stay ahead of industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct gap analysis assessments to inform both strategic direction as well as identify capabilities needing developed.
  • Create thorough and complex business case models for forward-looking work to be done.
  • Help build structured personas, customer segmentation models and high-level experiential journey maps by working closely with other digital stakeholders.
  • Be able to think critically and be able to spot areas of opportunity in our current digital experience.
  • Help maintain the long-term digital roadmap, as created by the broader Digital Strategy team.
  • Help build and maintain structured metrics and KPI’s for Komatsu’s digital business.
  • Creates presentation material and conducts periodic presentations during meetings.
