Responsibilities:

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital professional to lead on the day to day management of our website and support other digital marketing activities. As part of a small but high performing team you will help us develop the website so it is as effective as possible in reaching our target audiences.
The role involves creating, commissioning and editing content using a range of digital tools. You’ll also use analytics to refine our approaches - so these have the greatest engagement and conversion.
Reporting to the Digital Community Manager, this is a varied role with lots of scope to develop new skills. You’ll be able to find creative ways to promote our care and supported living services. You’ll also use your skills and experience to raise awareness of our campaigns and diverse work with disabled people.
Working with others, you’ll develop brilliant digital campaigns across all our channels and find creative ways to powerfully convey the impact of the charity’s vital work.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Have experience of content management systems.
  • Have experience of managing websites and social media channels.
  • Need good relationship management skills.
  • Be experienced in using mass email marketing systems.
  • Understand how to use data to get the best results and adapt approaches.
  • Be an excellent communicator who gets a buzz from creating engaging digital content.
  • Be able create content to high accessibility standards.
  • Have an excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Be someone who works well as part of a small team or independently.
  • Be passionate about making a positive impact to the lives of disabled people.
