JOB SUMMARY
We’re responsible for Land Transaction Tax and Landfill Disposals Tax. Our work raises revenue to support public services, like the NHS and schools, in communities across Wales. But that’s not all, we’re also involved with and support future tax design for Wales.
JOB DESCRIPTION
This is a new role that will support the Visitor Levy Implementation Programme. The DPM will play an important role in ensuring the programme is organised and administered to enable the smooth delivery of the new tax. This role will provide support and assistance to key programme staff including the SRO, Head of Digital & Change and delivery managers.
The WRA is using Agile and multidisciplined teams to help deliver new services. As DPM you will play a key role in supporting these teams and often be involved in many different activities. Developing the implementation of a new tax offers a unique opportunity to shape how tax is collected in Wales. This way of working is fast paced and uncertain, so its important that you enjoy working Agile and you are able to balance your workload and multi task.
“This is an exciting new role that will make a key contribution to organising the governance and implementation for the digital Service for a new tax in Wales.
Anthony Pritchard, Chief Digital Officer
