INTRODUCTION:

Boeing is seeking a Digital Portfolio Sales Director who will be responsible for planning, developing and managing competitive sales campaigns across Europe.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven track record as a successful customer facing professional with strong experience working within Sales & Marketing
  • Prior experience interfacing with senior executive leadership
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with customers
  • Prior experience managing competitive domestic or international sales campaigns
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of how to create mutual benefits for both customer and business
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and SalesForce.com
  • Prior experience across technology SaaS sales advantageous
    Work Authorization: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Germany. Candidates must have current legal authorization to work immediately in the Germany. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

This position will be instrumental with proactively executing sales and delivery activities to customers within the assigned region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion by integrating multiple aspects of the customers’ needs in a consultative manner
  • Craft campaign specific strategies, procure resources and secure management commitment to ensure successful execution
  • Follow comprehensive deal scoring metrics to ensure deal status knowledge and relevant next steps.
  • Initiate, maintain and advance customer relationships and work to be accepted as a trusted advisor and business partner
  • Establish, maintain and expand network to address customer needs and keep lines of communication open
  • Develop customer solutions by coordinating and integrating with internal and external processes and divisions to provide a competitive advantage and to foster business growth with acceptable margins
  • Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of the Boeing digital portfolio and partnership
  • Develop strong relationships within Boeing with the aim to partner, engage, pursue, and win new business with new and existing customers
  • Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensures correct members and resources are included in the team
  • Review and contribute to the final draft materials
  • Challenge recommended scope and cost to ensure compliance and competitiveness
  • Recommend alternative means of compliance to customer requests
  • Leverage detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration
  • Leverage company resources by building and leading a capture team to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding of DAS Whole Offers
  • Balances the enterprise, business unit and customer goals to meet and drive Long Range Business Plan (LRBP)
  • Lead the approval process by advocating the customer requirements and selling the business case to management to ensure quality deal.
  • Obtain commitment within parameters approved by management
  • Lead negotiations and finalize commitments, ensuring mutual benefit to the customer and Boeing by interfacing directly with customer Economic Buyers and Business Influencers
