The Challenge
The digital Projects Department is part of the Business line Licensing of Stamicarbon. The department works in an international oriented project environment being responsible for developing digital products such as dedicated high-fidelity Operator Training Simulator (OTS) and process simulators for the process industry including, amongst others, the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy and specialty chemicals sector, and in particular for all Stamicarbon licensed technologies and projects.
At the same time, the department delivers all relevant technical knowledge and resources to define, sell and execute projects that involve Stami Digital products and services, as well as general knowledge and resources for other digital-related initiatives within the company.
We are looking for a Digital Process Engineer.
In this role you need to understand the process, chemical components and complex control system settings to be simulated. This involves analyzing the customer’s requirements and cooperating with other engineering areas of the company to effectively replicate the process in our simulation environment.
Our high-fidelity Operator Training Simulators (OTS) are fully built in Stamicarbon’ s comprehensive suit for simulation, modeling and engineering.
