QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in Compliance or as Product Counsel in a regulated industry
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Able to set and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong communications skills, both written and oral
  • Highly ethical and able to question and defend with an open mind
  • In-house experience a plus!

Flow is looking for Counsel to support exciting Digital and Product initiatives! You will have an opportunity to work with talented technologists who see things differently and build with innovation. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide product, engineering, and other business teams with legal advice across subjects including regulatory, consumer protection, IP, privacy, and other global legal frameworks
  • Work alongside digital development teams to navigate and reconcile competing priorities in development and launch of digital products
  • Research, monitor, and communicate regarding multi-jurisdictional regulatory and compliance issues
  • Provide legal support to various initiatives, including but not limited to community commerce, social media, publications, contests/give-aways, on and off-site experiences, etc
  • Engage as needed with regulatory authorities at the municipal, state, and federal levels
  • Apply for and maintain applicable licenses and regulatory approvals
  • Develop internal policies and procedures, process controls, and testing
  • Provide clear advice on legal, operational and commercial issues and risks
  • Draft policies, procedures, and handbooks
  • Review, mark up, and manage contracts
  • Manage outside counsel
