Description:

An exciting opportunity has become available for within the integrated Alder Hey and Liverpool Heart and Chest Digital Service. We are looking for 2 talented, highly motivated Project Coordinators to work across both trusts to provide support on the various projects outlined in the digital strategies in each Trust, which are plans of digital quality improvement that will work towards improving clinician satisfaction and the overall care for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Maintenance of the portfolios for the relevant Programmes, ensuring all projects have fully complete and accurate project documentation including version control
Development of project PIDs, RAID log and highlight reports
To ensure the right people are invited for meetings, as well as organizing and facilitating these events
Alder Hey has been officially accredited as a HIMSS Stage 7 hospital and is now working through a strategy refresh. Alongside this the Trust are upgrading their Electronic Patient Record (Meditech) to the latest version available, maximising our investment in core clinical systems to ensure our staff have the best tools available when providing patient care.
Liverpool Heart and Chest have recently become part of the Digital Aspirant scheme, which helps NHS Trusts raise their Digital Maturity. The Trust has also recently commissions the Digital Excellence Strategy, a 5-year programme to deliver digital initiatives enabling a wide range of benefits. The 3 core themes that underpin the strategy are ‘Connecting Digitally with our Patients and Families’, ‘Digital Safety and Outstanding Care’ and ‘Insight Led Care’, all underpinned by a ‘back to basics’ service improvement plan.
To maintain the portfolios for the relevant Programmes, ensuring all projects have fully complete and accurate project documentation including version control

To ensure the right people are invited for meetings, as well as organizing and facilitating these events
Ensure project documentation is prepared in a timely and efficient manner
Support the production of project reports when required
Attend relevant meetings, documenting minutes and actions
Involvement in any aspect relating to relevant projects including training, communications, testing and workshops.
Prepare project/programme status reports when required
Collect and maintain specific project data
Support the Digital Programme Manager with governance arrangements and board meetings
Management of individual project budgets
Liaising with third party suppliers
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with a number of operational, clinical and corporate departments
Production of highlight reports
Maintenance of RAG status reports for all projects and reporting any changes through appropriate channels
Managing some small scale projects as part of developmen
