The Senior Digital Marketing & Sales Expert is responsible for setting the (global) standards and best practices in the field of ING’s Digital Marketing & Sales. Analytical skills: we are looking for someone who knows how to collect, analyse and act on the right data and information. Someone who is able to rapidly get a grasp of complex content, recognizes patterns and can sport the opportunities to smoothen & optimize processes.
Stakeholder management: You have demonstrable experience in managing complex stakeholder fields. You have the ability to navigate through the governance of ING Business Banking in DBNL, but also Global as you will be building the global Business Banking Marketing & Sales community.
Project management: as you will be representing Business Banking in several key projects, we are looking for someone that has experience in project management or related skills. You need to be able to guide/lead meetings and manage participants, present a structured story and deliver your key messages. Also, PowerPoint skills are a must-have!
Digital: digital is at the core of all our efforts. We are looking someone digital-savvy who is able to understand (sometimes complex) tooling and has a good feeling for data & dashboarding. You need to be able to see and implement opportunities for further digitization. This requires you to speak ‘technical language’, as you will be aligning with IT-profiles on tooling and architecture. Basic knowledge on ING’s IT architecture is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Digital Marketing & Sales Expert / Senior Digital Acquisition Specialist is responsible for setting the (global) standards and best practices in the field of ING’s Digital Marketing & Sales. ING Business Banking is active not only in The Netherlands, but also in Australia, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain, Poland, Romania & Turkey. The role consists of 4 key pillars, which are interdependently related:
Setting the global standards and best practices: With each country having its own characteristics, your role is to oversee the different strategies related to performance management & MarTech, extract the best practices and introduce these to other countries where possible.
Global community management: The global Digital Marketing & Sales community for ING Business Banking is still early stage. You will have a boosting, organizing & coordinating role in further building & maintaining the global community. In online forums as well as physical. Willingness to travel is thus required.
Global to local: As you oversee the digital strategies applied in all countries ING Business Banking is active, you translate the best practices into the local DBNL Digital Marketing & Sales organization. This will be an important part of the role, where you work together with the Digital Sales and Digital Transformation & CX teams to make sure ING BB NL Easy Banking makes optimal use of all the knowledge, experience and best practices from the other ING BB countries.
Special projects: You will be representing Easy Banking, or Business Banking in broader sense, in several special (and sometimes confidential) projects. Differing from project management to content-related support.
This role thus requires a strong analytical profile to analyze the performance of different strategies, excellent stakeholder management capabilities in aligning strategies with colleagues from different countries ,and a strong sense of sensitivity in handling information.
