We’re seeking a passionate and skilled SDET to join our growing quality engineering team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing, developing, and executing cutting-edge automated test frameworks and E2E regression suites. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers and product teams to deliver high-quality software, champion best practices in testing, and drive continuous improvement, all while contributing to a culture of quality and innovation within the team.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of strong, demonstrable experience in test automation as a software developer or SDET; with a Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • 3+ years of working knowledge with Data Warehouse and ETL concepts
  • 3+ years of programming knowledge with experience in C#, Java, or Python
  • 2+ years of experience using any modern ETL tools (i.e., Informatica PowerCenter, SSIS and Talend, DataStage etc.)
  • Good understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and its relevance to QA process
  • Comfortable with the full Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr, Bitbucket) Strong understanding of the retail life cycle, use cases, and data requirements, with proficiency in testing RESTful web services using tools like Postman and UI automation testing using Selenium or similar tools (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS, GCP, and PCF, applying this knowledge to enhance testing and development processes (preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites for web, mobile, and API platforms to ensure comprehensive coverage
  • Create custom automation components, reusable libraries, and tools to streamline test processes and enhance overall efficiency
  • Support and execute automation regression testing using tools like Worksoft, Perfecto, Soap UI, and Postman to validate product functionality
  • Write, execute, and analyze automated tests for both functional services and UI, ensuring thorough regression testing across the system
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and identify key testing needs throughout the development process.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot software defects, utilizing tools like Splunk to identify root causes and resolve issues promptly
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to improve the quality, maintainability, and testability of the codebase
  • Mentor junior engineers on testing methodologies, best practices, and industry trends, while continuously improving testing processes and tools
