Position Overview
The Senior Associate Project Manager has a key role in the EMEA DTC Project Team, working with business stakeholders to define feature and functionality requirements for Ralph Lauren’s EMEA & LATAM digital tech change projects. Supporting all areas of the DTC business team to determine optimization opportunities and compliance / regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be working with the Global Product and Platform team to drive, facilitate and monitor the delivery of high-quality consumer experiences for the EMEA & LATAM region. These projects help the business to drive conversion, encourage retention, raise brand perception, and ultimately support business growth and positioning objectives.
This role requires some eCommerce platform understanding, strong project management skills, clear stakeholder engagement and organisation, and excellent cross-functional communication and partnership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the project lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Documenting and shaping with the Business Owner the spec & requirements for their specific area.
  • Challenging the Global Product and Platform team throughout the project lifecycle to ensure the business interests are considered, always reflected and that timelines are met.
  • Project Communication and updates between the Technical and Business teams, ensuring the business needs are considered and delivered, if technically feasible, within the scope of the project.
  • Facilitating regular touch base meetings, circulating notes, and following up with stakeholders on actions.
  • All Project Documentation, creation, and upkeep. Including Timelines, Critical Path, Dependencies, Risk and Issue Log, Weekly Status Report, UAT Plan, Steering Committee Deck etc.
  • Risk and Issue Tracking throughout the project, ensuring any mitigation is considered and actioned.
  • Monitoring user acceptance testing to ensure that the Business team have what they need and bugs are logged and resolved ahead of go live.
  • Facilitating Post Go Live Retrospective meetings ensuring that we are learning and growing as a team and that the project are delivering to the success metrics defined at the beginning of the project.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • 3 Cycles as product manager, digital tech project manager or similar function for eCommerce businesses
  • Proven success in translating business strategy into feature/functionality requirements
  • Understanding of a technical change process from idea intake through to dev, QA, UAT, release and post release bug resolution.
  • Understanding of A/B testing design and execution
  • Ability to self-organize multiple tasks and to complete them on time with a clear focus on quantitative results
  • Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts at the functional level
  • Strong analytical, prioritization and negotiating skills
  • Passionate about building great products and solving customer and business problems
  • Cross functional with stakeholders across several locations, countries, and time zones
  • Understanding of full end to end digital consumer journeys and supporting systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of one or more from Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Order Management Systems, SEO requirements a plus.
  • Project management via Jira, Confluence, Monday.com desirable.
