POSITION OVERVIEW
Coordinate the delivery of assigned digital health solutions from within the established enterprise architecture throughout the province.
EXPERIENCE
- 1 year of experience coordinating the delivery of digital health related solutions or business changes in the health services sector, combined with;
- 1 year of experience using standard project frameworks and principles, organizational change management tools and methodologies (such as Prosci), and project management methodologies or standards (such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK), and;
- 1 year of experience working in information technology operations such as application or infrastructure support.
EDUCATION (DEGREE/DIPLOMA/CERTIFICATE)
- A post-secondary degree in a relevant technology or health information system related field from an accredited education institution.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Demonstrated staff leadership capabilities including sensitivity to the cultural needs of Indigenous people. The provincial health system in Manitoba has adopted the LEADS in a Caring Environment framework.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings, and to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg.
- Interruptions from key stakeholders are common; dedicated and focused time for planning and concentration can be scheduled.
- Regular travel throughout the service area requiring a valid Manitoba driver’s license and use of a personal motor vehicle.
- Flexibility in working hours is required.
