To be successful, you will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • 3-5 years’ retail experience
  • Minimum 2 years digital marketing experience
  • Preferably retail or wholesale background
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive
  • Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Work independently and as part of team
  • Highly self-driven with initiative to be hands-on to support wider team
  • Analytical skills experience with Google Analytics (or similar)
  • Highly organised with great communication skills
  • Marketing, business degree/diploma preferable.
  • Assist team in meeting the annual sales and margin budget.
  • Drive the brand strategy & assist with implementing key initiatives
  • Building strong working relationships across all areas of the business

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for driving the customer communication lifecycle strategy, predominantly via EDM’s and managing the relationship with the digital marketing agency for digital marketing campaigns in order to achieve the daily, weekly, monthly and annual revenue and customer targets. In addition, this role will be responsible for driving quality traffic to the website through the various digital channels, and the ongoing analysis of traffic, conversion and optimisation of our digital marketing efforts and ensuring management of PM spend is in line with the budget.
The role will also have touchpoints in eCommerce, namely campaign management, landing page and customer journey planning for broader marketing activity and be the conduit between the digital and marketing teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Planning and Execution

  • Deliver quality website traffic through the development and execution of the Digital Marketing Strategy across email, performance marketing (paid social, affiliates and google)
  • Plan, develop, coordinate & work with the digital marketing coordinator to execute all email marketing communications to our consumers.
  • Acquire new customers, through effective third-party digital marketing relationships.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Lead to plan and execute digital elements of key marketing campaigns
  • Develop and maintain the digital marketing calendar to ensure a cohesive plan for promotions, across all sites and brands.
  • Manage the customer communication lifecycle to ensure targeted and segmented eDM’s are sent to the right customers, at the right time and at the right frequency.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day initiatives and implementation of growth strategies for our eDM campaigns including project management of internal and external incentives for all stages of the customer communication lifecycle.

Marketing & Content Management

  • Assist in building and maintaining creative briefs for marketing calendar across all digital channels and

website.

  • Work with marketing team to help build out content across channels.
  • Proactively manage and maintain the integrity of the subscriber database ensuring it is up-to-date and as accurate as possible.
  • Brief the ecommerce team to build content and product landing pages to support marketing campaigns as required.
  • Execute Paid Social strategy, with the marketing team, to assist sales.

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Managing the digital marketing coordinator to build and schedule EDMs as per marketing calendar, including copywriting, subject lines, A/B testing
  • Work with the Senior Ecommerce Manager to devise and deliver loyalty initiatives and drive database acquisition across
  • Support the automation and retention email strategy in both Emarsys and Wunderkind
  • Fully exploit the capabilities of the Emarsys platform to drive sales and customer engagement and understand key insights and takeouts from all marketing activity.

Sales & Analysis Reporting

  • Contribute to the Weekly trade sales report including relevant commentary and insights across digital channels
  • Build the weekly/monthly digital and CRM report to provide insights into what is working well and where the potential opportunities are.
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting where necessary.
  • Monitor & analyse relevant website metrics and take appropriate action

Support eCommerce Team with Campaigns / Pricing & Promotions

  • Executed accurately and within deadlines.
  • Ensure set up & removal of onsite promotions.
  • Where necessary ensure online promotions are aligned and launched in line with instore activity

Managing direct report

  • Managing, coaching & mentoring of the digital marketing coordinator.
