Overview:
Digital Products & Services (DPS) team members are responsible for securely managing information systems throughout their lifecycle, including knowing what information systems are within their scope of responsibility, understanding what sensitive data is stored, transmitted, or processed on those information systems, enforcing the security principles of least privilege and least functionality, knowing what events may constitute an information security incident, and understanding their role in security incident response activities.
The DPS Technical Architect II is a technical partner who works alongside end users and an application team, and with solution architects to evaluate requirements, priorities, and cost to meet strategic and technical goals. The DPS Technical Architect II supports relationships with corporate/clinical partners and serves as a single point of focus for a specific technical area.

Qualifications:
Education: For SRE: Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Management 4 Year / Bachelors Degree preferred.
Experience: 10+ years Technical Analyst, or Developer Role. FOR SRE: Cloud Architect, SRE, Data Engineer, or DBA Role required. 5 years FOR SRE: Public Cloud Technology (Azure, GCP, AWS) required.
Licensure/Certification: TOGAF-9, CITA-F, ITIL-F, COBIT-5, CISSP-ISSAP, or equivalent Preferred. FOR SRE: Microsoft Certified Azure Data Fundamentals or equivalent in other public cloud technologies; Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent in other public cloud technologies; Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent in other public cloud technologies; Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent in other public cloud technologies Preferred. FOR SRE: AWS or GCP Associate Level Certification preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS (REQUIRED):

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS (PREFERRED):
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF, IASA).
- Intermediate knowledge of APM technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and microservices architecture
- Ability to work with vendors and internal customers to craft, document, and verify solutions that meet data and analytics requirements.
- Ability to mentor and train others in the data platform stack.
- Ability to diagram and communicate data flows and workflows.
- Advanced knowledge of the data platform technology stack.
- Expert knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Expert knowledge of DevOps methodologies.
- Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Expert knowledge of Azure PaaS Services for data manipulation, orchestration, containerization, and data storage.
- Expert knowledge of Azure Storage solutions.
- Expert knowledge of Azure PaaS Databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- Expert knowledge of federated database solutions (Starburst).
- Expert knowledge of cloud data warehousing technologies.
- Intermediate knowledge of analytics tools for data presentation and visualization.
- Intermediate knowledge of Azure Databricks.
- Intermediate knowledge of Apache Airflow
- Intermediate knowledge of Apache Kafka and the associated data frameworks (JSON, AVRO, Protobuf)
