Ford Model E is responsible for developing the key technologies and capabilities – such as EV platforms, batteries, e-motors, inverters, charging and recycling – to create ground-up, breakthrough electric vehicles. As the Digital Transformation Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be a key part of the team rebuilding of our end-to-end process and digital tools, across all skill teams for a new agile and autonomous organization within Ford. You will get to work with program management, marketing, engineering, supply chain, finance, manufacturing, materials handling, service, etc. to develop the key functions needed; digital transformation business leads to architect solutions; and IT leads to deliver digital solutions.
THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS WE SEEK:
- Proven experience in digital transformation or business transformation projects ( 5+ years)
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager (3+ years). Strong technical program management and planning skills, overseeing multiple project at the same time
- Strong collaboration skills to integrate cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Familiar with the vehicle development process end to end, across all skill teams (product development, manufacturing, service, marketing, etc)
- Familiar with the software development process

Responsibilities:
- Program Planning & Project Oversight
- Drive successful delivery on time and with quality.
- Define program scope, goals, and success criteria and ensure their alignment with the organizational strategy.
- Develop a program timeline, roadmap, and the strategy behind successful delivery.
- Monitor project progress to ensure continuing alignment with the stated goals.
- Stakeholder Management
- Identify and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish effective communication channels to manage expectations during the life of the program.
- Resource Management
- Allocate resources across projects.
- Ensure that resources are used effectively to achieve our strategic goals.
- Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and plan the mitigation of risks and issues that may affect programs success.
- Keep the leadership team appraised of the risk landscape for the portfolio.
- Change Management
- Assess the impact of change on the program and its projects.
- Work with the organizational change management lead to ensure smooth transitions.
- Reporting
- Regularly report the programs progress to the different stakeholder and ensure they have the proper level of information based on their role and expected action for the program.
- Conflict Management
- Mediate and resolve conflict within and between projects within the program.
- Support the conflict manager with other Ford departments.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
