Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs, is currently looking for an innovative and mission-driven Digital Workplace Architect. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing digital solutions within the Microsoft 365 platform. Those solutions will seek to empower our dedicated colleagues who operate in some of the most challenging and remote areas of the world. Your work will enhance the efficiency, connectivity, and security of our digital workplace, directly impacting the lives of the most vulnerable populations we serve.

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Continue successful deployment of our digital workplace solutions across the 40+ countries and many units in DRC’s global operations.
  • Innovation: Act as both catalyst and guardian of digital tools meeting the unique needs of humanitarian fieldwork, ensuring accessibility and usability in low-bandwidth and remote environments.
  • Integration: Ensure integration of digital workplace technologies with existing systems and workflows, promoting a unified and efficient operational framework.
  • User-Centric Approach: Collaborate with end-users, including field staff and local partners, to gather feedback and continuously improve digital tools, ensuring they meet the real-world needs of our humanitarian missions.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, safeguarding sensitive information and communications.
  • Training & Support: Develop and deliver training programs to empower staff at all levels of digital literacy to effectively utilize digital workplace tools and solutions.
  • Leadership: Manage stakeholder expectations. Plan and follow-up on prioritised activity road map. Coordinate the workload across the architect role and two DWP development and support consultants.
