Digitalization Specialist (m/f/d)
Your responsibilities:
- Contribute to planning projects related to initiatives in edtech, AI tools development, and learning analytics, and carry them through to execution and delivery where the DO skillset is needed.
- Collaborate with Head of DE to contribute to the development of the university’s digitalization strategy and roadmap.
- Identify manual processes and procedures that can be digitized and automated to improve efficiency, accuracy and user experience.
- Develop AI application to support the work of faculty and staff and integrate AI into workplace management where feasible.
- Design, code and implement applications, tools and dashboards to enable the digitalization of workflows, leveraging skills in relevant programming languages and technologies.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant staff to build data integration pipelines, automate data analysis, and create visualizations and reports to generate insights.
- Coordinate with IT to integrate new digital solutions with existing systems, ensuring proper testing, change management, and ongoing maintenance and support.
- Provide initial training and support to staff in using new digital applications and advise instructional technologist in further development of training and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in digitalization, learning analytics, AI and related technologies, and propose new ideas and initiatives.
Your profile:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in application development and systems integration
- Proven track record in developing workplace management solutions with MS Office applications
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, SQL etc.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools and their applications in an educational context
- Excellent problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- Ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for leveraging technology to improve educational processes and outcomes
