JOB DESCRIPTION
Regional Delivery is a large, complex, and geographically dispersed operation within the DIO covering circa 58,000 assets, across over 500 sites and 275,000 Ha of freehold and leasehold estate in the UK and a further 580,000 Ha overseas; with a multitude of £multi-million contracts to manage. We deliver soft and hard facilities management services including building, maintaining, and servicing the majority of MODs built assets in the UK and overseas and managing the MODs training estate tenanted estate and USVF Built estate.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and well organised individual to join a regional based busy team responsible for the contract management/monitoring and assurance of Soft Facilities Management of the HESTIA contracts on behalf of DIO and Unit Authority across sites within the North, Wales & West Midlands, and East Regions. The post is based at RAF Wyton.
The Soft FM outputs are delivered via a contracted Industry Partner that is monitored and assured by DIO as the contract authority. The contract delivers a core set of standardised Soft FM Services including catering, retail and leisure, cleaning and associated services including window cleaning, laundry, dry cleaning, tailoring, short term catering, portable ablutions, and waste management.
The role is both challenging and rewarding as it provides an opportunity for the post holder to develop their skills in overseeing a contractor delivered Soft Facilities Management services.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. The post does not offer relocation expenses.
External recruits who join the MOD who are new to the Civil Service will be subject to a six-month probation period.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- As the DIO MAC Management Assurance Team (MMAT) HESTIA Region lead you will undertake contract management, monitoring, and assurance on behalf of DIO to ensure that contracted Soft FM services are delivered in accordance with the contract specification, conditions, and quality standards.
- You will manage the annual programme for the Regional Monthly Performance Meeting (RMPM) and carry out Secretarial duties.
- You will regularly produce reports in support of the Service Manager, MMAT and wider SFM and customer delivery teams.
- You will feed into the Budget Management for the HESTIA Contracts within Region.
- You will raise, upload, and monitor Regional Requests for Contract Action (RCA) and Business Cases (BC)
- You will support the financial raising of requisitions and receipting through Contract Procurement & Finance (CP&F) for the authorisation and payment of Industry Partner monthly Management Fee
- You will undertake contract evaluation as necessary.
- You will ensure consistency and coherency with Hard FM Contract
- You will work together to align Soft Facilities Management for the next generation of SFM contracts, by introducing commonality of service delivery.
